Chanel Nuñez is a Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) with 5 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)helping children with Developmental Disabilities and in Foster Care along side their caregivers. Chanel’s journey in the field began in 2013 as a camp counselor for the Autism Spectrum Disorder Summer Treatment Program at FIU. Chanel then graduated with her Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Behavior Analysis in 2013. She became a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst in 2015 and began her Masters in Behavior Analysis in 2016 with hopes of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2020. Chanel has extensive experience with children ages 3 to 8. In addition, Chanel has worked with a variety of areas such as sleeping difficulties, aggression, non-compliance, pica and more. Furthermore, Chanel has experience in parent training and has trained new comers in the field seeking to become a Registered Behavior Technician. Chanel uses her interest in science, singing, drawing, and acting as a means to bring a uniqueness and excitement to the therapy process without losing site of each child’s individual preferences.
