Social Skills Groups

Social Skills Groups

Social skills include far more than the ability to communicate with other people. They’re crucial to making friends, succeeding in school, and getting and keeping a job. We work on school survival skills, pragmatics, communication, tolerance, turntaking and other important social skills.

We carefully assess each child, considering factors such as age, strengths, interests, and scheduling needs when assigning them to groups. Our tailored 1:1 therapy program covers a spectrum of skill levels, from fundamental to advanced, with the primary goal of optimizing social interaction opportunities to cultivate confidence in the children we serve.
