Christian Martinez is known for his incredible passion towards anything that he sets his mind on. After graduating high school in 2013, Christian started off in FIU majoring in Environmental studies, whilst at the same time working two jobs to pay for school. After working two jobs in the field of healthcare, one in a diagnostic imaging center and the other in a Gastrointestinal office, he realized his passion for helping those in need. Through his work at a church as a youth group director he had many interactions with children with autism, including his direct uncle with severe autism who is low functioning and nonverbal. Knowing he had family working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy he inquired about the field and that’s when he was hit with the inspiration of what he wanted to do. He worked promptly in getting his RBT certification because he realized that he would be able to satisfy his passion of helping people, more importantly helping families, as well as working with kids. So with all this passion and motivation under his belt he is ready to progress and grow in this newfound fascination of the world of ABA therapy, hoping to learn so much more along the way.
