Joanna Villa started working in the field of Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA) in 2015. She worked as an RBT for three and a half years and provided one-on-one therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). During this time, she learned about ASD, how to properly implement treatment programs, and how to collaborate with the caregiver team to provide necessary treatments for each child. Later, she attended Ball State University and earned a Masters in Arts with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). After passing her board exam, she became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and began to work as a supervisor. Joanna loves working with children and families as well as, training RBTs on the techniques and knowledge necessary to make significant changes in the quality of lives of children with ASD. Joanna hopes to continue teaching and training RBTs as they pursue their own passions within the world of ABA therapy.
