Kiara Martinez

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Kiara Martinez-Villeta was born and raised in Florida. She has had an interest in psychology since elementary school and worked her way up to attend Nova Southeastern University (NSU) to earn her bachelor’s in psychology. Before arriving at NSU, she was unaware of what Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) was about. She was encouraged to add a minor in ABA early on, and from those courses, she developed a love for and interest in the field. She first started working with children as a volunteer at Shaping Change, LLC., a clinic that was based in Weston. She then volunteered as a presenter for a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) program at a middle school. She plans on becoming a BCBA and continuing to work with children to help them improve and grow.
