Jonathan Plaza

Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Jonathan Plaza is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who was introduced to the field of Behavior Analysis through a professor at FIU. He discovered a genuine interest in the field and soon after became a Behavior Technician working in home settings—a decision that ultimately changed his career path. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, he joined the Special Education Master’s Program at the University of Miami. This program, focused on age-appropriate development, made him a more well-rounded professional in the field of special needs. Shortly after completing his BCaBA, he joined Crystal Minds, seeing it as an opportunity to apply what he has learned in the field of ABA and Special Needs in order to bring about positive life changes. As a member of the Crystal Minds aba therapist team, he has been able to be part of an interdisciplinary team focused on providing support to professionals working with the special-needs population. The ability to work directly with children and witness the positive changes that occur in their lives is definitely the most gratifying aspect and motivation for him in this field.
