Registed Behavior Technitian (RBT)
Leydis Hinojosa was born in Cuba, thus she began her primary studies in Cuba and received her high school diploma at Hialeah Senior High. She did volunteer hours working at Happy Hearts Learning Center from August 2017 to September 2019. Leydis loves working with children. Leydis had the opportunity to work with children of 3 years old and first graders, after school supporting them in accomplishing tasks. Both groups had children with special needs, autism, and behavior concerns, which Leydis interacted with and applied specific reinforcements of collaboration. Leydis took an interest in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). Leydis immediately decided that she would pursue a career as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to help kids improve their lives and bring them joy since she grew up watching her mom work all her life as a teacher and then as an RBT. Leydis is currently studying at Keiser University completing her associates in science with a focus in Occupational Therapy. She takes her job seriously, maintains good interpersonal and social relationships, and is a great team player.
