Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Marsha is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for three years. She started her journey in this field when her oldest son was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). It awakened a desire of wanting to know more about ASD causes and treatment. Even though she has a background in the health field (nursing), it was not enough to answer her inquiries on how to provide better education and independent life for her son. With the help of proper guidance, she decided to switch nursing school to ABA. She earned her Master of Science in Psychology with a specialty in ABA from Capella University in 2021, and in 2022 she became a BCBA. Currently, Marsha is pursuing a postgraduate certification in an Overview of Autism Spectrum Disorders at Arizona State University to expand her knowledge. Now, being part of CMNB, Marsha can help the client and their family by applying scientific base knowledge to modify socially significant behavior that will help enhance their lives. Also, she hopes to educate them and disseminate the knowledge about this wonderful field as much as she can.
