Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
Maybel Leza is a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) who graduated with honors (Summa Cum Laude) from Florida International University (FIU) with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, completing the verified course sequence in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She also became a member of Psi Chi International Honor Society and Tau Sigma Honor Society while completing her Bachelor’s Degree. Maybel is currently enrolled in the ABA Master’s program from the University of West Florida. Maybel has been in the field of ABA for three years. She obtained her Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification in 2019, and since then, she has worked as a behavior therapist with children and teens with Autism and other developmental disabilities. Maybe has worked in numerous settings. Maybel has increased her role by working client’s treatment plans, implementing reduction interventions, decrease maladaptive behaviors, increase appropriate adaptive skills, provide supervision to behavior technicians, and providing parent training to numerous families. Maybel is focused and committed to provide the highest quality of services to improve socially significant behaviors and to make a meaningful difference in the life of clients every day.
