Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Melissa Ferrer graduated Florida International University (FIU) in December 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In order to continue her education, Melissa will be starting her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology at Albizu University in August 2021. Melissa is currently also a research assistant at the FIU Center for Children and Families in the Summer Reading Explorers Program, in which she is responsible for coding videos, input research data in the system and participate in discussions about past research studies. Melissa is very passionate about the field of Psychology. She aspires to learn more about the Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) field by working as an RBT. Another professional goal Melissa is determined to achieve is to become a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), which she is currently working towards. As a recent RBT, Melissa enjoys working with children and their families and provide therapy services.
