Misleiny Acosta
Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Misleiny Acosta Valdes is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who started her career working with children with special needs while volunteering as a Behavior Assistant (BA) in the Social Skills Group at Crystal Minds New Beginning (CMNB) in 2018. As she began taking ABA classes, her passion for the field grew bigger. First, she became a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analysis (BCaBA) in 2019 after completing her certification requirements. In 2020 she completed her Master of Arts in Professional Behavior Analysis at Florida Institute of Technology and became a BCBA in February 2021. She acquired experience working with children on the spectrum between 18 months and 12 years old. Misleiny is constantly looking for more opportunities to expand her experience in the field. She obtained training in Professional Crisis Management (PCM) and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) Level I and II. She is committed to offering the best service possible to children and their families. Her goal is to help children reach their full potential and to continue to provide services with love and dedication.
