Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Tancy is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is fluent in English and Spanish. Tancy has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for almost 8 years. She has extensive experience working with children in the Autism Spectrum ages 2-13. She began accruing her practicum hours in 2013 as a Behavior Assistant (BA) in the Florida International University (FIU) Autism Spectrum Disorder Summer Treatment Program. She also joined the Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) program at FIU for one semester. Tancy graduated from FIU with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and began working for Crystal Minds New Beginning (CMNB) as a BA providing one to one services to children. In 2014, she became a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and continued to provide one to one services as well as gained experience supervising cases. Tancy pursued a Master’s degree in Professional Behavior Analysis at Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) and graduated in August 2020. She became a BCBA in October 2020. Tancy found her passion in ABA and not a day goes by without feeling grateful for being part of this mission of helping children achieve significant outcomes, improve their quality of life, and reach their full potential.
